Hoping to get some recommendations on what to plant in this garden bed. Currently, it is pretty narrow (about 75cm) but I am extending it out further from the house (to about 2 metres). There is a car space in front of my house that I am hoping to be able to screen with some smart planting. Hoping someone here has suggestions on what would be good to plant.
The garden bed is south-facing (only gets sun for a few hours in very early morning and late afternoon). The soil is quite clay-ey. I prefer natives, but I am not hard-line on that if anything better suits. I have north-facing windows on the other side of my house so I’m not too fussed about losing any light/view in this window, I’m just not a fan of having to look at large cars parked in front of my house.
