If it’s for planting you could use any type of solid garden edging. If you plan on walking or building on it you would need to consider foundations as well as a retaining wall.
If you are considering any work figure out if you will need drainage in that area first. You could do all the work and end up with a mini peat bog

Hard to tell from the photos how steep the gradient is, but they dont seem that steep so potentially could do some cheap DIY job. Get a few stakes (4/5 foot timber) and hammer them around 2 foot deep into the ground, in a straight line, where’d you like the wall. Space one every 1.5/2 metres. Next get some 6″x1″ timber gravel boards, and fix them to the posts.
If the stakes are deep enough (give them a wobble to see if theyre strong) that should hold a small amount of ground back.
