I got these moss poles that I’ve been wanting to try out recently. I used a chunky mix consisting of coco bark, sphagnum, orchid bark, etc. My Philodendron Florida Green started vining and putting out smaller leaves so I was hoping to try to get it to climb. It’s pretty long so I wrapped it around this pole to try to minimize the height it’s at but now it’s looking a little cramped. Is this a pretty bad idea? Am I damaging the plant and should I just chop part of it and attached that to the moss pole? Any advice would be nice! Please don’t judge this mess loll.

Yeah I’d just chop the whole top off and start it again from the base, wrapping it around will get messy and the plant will struggle to root in to the pole. Straight up the front is much easier.
FYI, don’t tuck the stem under the plastic of the moss pole either. Just use like Velcro plant tape or something like that to hold it to the pole by the stem at the nodes.
Question why are you trying to limit its height if you’re putting it on a moss pole? It’s going to get really big in a pole which is generally what people want
