Imagine ditching the corporate grind, rejecting toxic chemicals, and building a profitable business from a halfacre just seven minutes from downtown. On land, most people grow boring lawns. What if I told you one man has cracked the code, turning his yard into a booming nursery, pulling in a real living and amassing tens of thousands of devoted followers who trust his advice. He’s a plant whisperer who’s quietly revolutionizing how we grow our food. And after 18 years of trial, error, and pure grit, he’s sharing his top four propagation secrets that could change everything for you. In this video, we dive deep into Sean Dembrosky’s Edible Acres, a permaculture paradise that’s defying Big A’s poison playbook. He’ll even show you how you can make a healthy part-time income in your driveway in the space of one car.

  1. I just moved to a 2.43 acre property thats only 20 minutes from down town tampa. I have a private well so dont have to worry about a bill for irrigation. This inspires me. Only been here 3 weeks and already planted 20 varieties of fruit trees (no citrus not worth it anymore in florida). This video gives me a lot of ideas

  2. Sean is one of a kind, and has taught many of us as well as filling our gardens. More important, he (and Sasha and Juan) exemplify a way of living (respect and care for people, animals, plants, and earth over profit) that keeps us coming back to his channel.

  3. I grow canna bos and that’s how it works. The ones that produce higher amounts of cannabinoids live on to perpetuate their progeny.

  4. so your click bait says he does this on half an acre, and yet he says later that he has larger plots of 6 acres. That is know as a lie.

  5. A little constructive criticism if I could. When interviewing somebody, don't waste their time and do all the talking. Ask them questions that help to focus conversations, but the end of the day we want to hear the interviewee more than the interviewer

  6. When your intentions are pure God will provide you with whatever your heart desires multiplying your blessings in a heartbeat…. You can have God in your heart feeding creation at its soul space…. Chwała Tobie Boże Żywy I Wszechmogący

  7. Thank you for your time and energy, Stefan and Sean – what a fantastic collaboration!
I rarely leave comments but that is something I am being more mindful of, especially since I have learned so much and have been inspired by both of these gentlemen.

Sean, in addition to all of the experience-based, tried-and-true tips shared in this video, along with his Edible Acres channel, he has an extremely information-condensed “Permaculture Nursery” series if you are interested:
    Part 1 – Overview and Integration https://youtu.be/pm8IZNPunrI?si=w5jw3MXLG3cKXxF7
Part 2 – Tools, Techniques and more https://youtu.be/GQYF-RuDZEA?si=4TT9_TmGct0GnDnE
    Part 3 – In Depth Propagation https://youtu.be/iIBoEN6wkZI?si=FirE20Ngc6pVqmia

    Cheers!

  8. I am going to watch all of his videos 😅. This way of thinking makes sense because God made us to be the stewards of His creation. It also makes sense that He would give us the tools we need to communicate with and understand the creatures we are meant to take care of. It seems to me we belong over nature managing and caring for and within nature simultaneously. Great video thanks for bringing Sean to light for me Stefan. As I try to find my path toward an agrarian life this feels like more information in the right direction. The Lord bless you and keep you both.

  9. I was so happy to see this interview! Edible Acres is AMAZING! So glad you are bringing attention to Sean’s approach to growing everything. He’s techniques are so productive and easy to be implemented. He is so generous with his knowledge! Thank you to both of you!

  10. As a practitioner of permaculture that only has a corner suburban lot, I could really use a permaculture practice to reduce slugs and snails that actually works!

  11. Been busy so I'm just now watching this. These are two of my favorite human beings in the world. When seemingly everyone is silo-ing and taking sides on political grounds and pushing people away for believing the "wrong" thing about this or that, these guys have nothing but love to give out to anyone who's interested. I am thrilled that Stefan knows Sean, that honestly makes me happy. Sean seems like just the coolest dude ever.

  12. I love the Edible Acres YouTube vids. The place, the intent, I wish I could do it here. We have the property but our neighbors and the city's control wouldn't let us. Really, where I live, they would drag you through the legal system, & take your house if you tried to do anything close to this.
It wasn't always that way, but now my neighbors have more control of my property than I do.

  13. The first couple videos of Sean’s that I watched, I wasn’t buying it much, but it grows on you🤩the more I watch, the better I like!

  14. Every time I watch a video with Sean, I need my notebook close by for all the new ideas that spawn from how he views farming and the world.

    EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!

  15. Stefan, What a great production you have created! Like many of my fellow commenters I am also one of Sean's followers. Love to see Edible Acres displayed 🙂
