Another great video! I was going through a rough time 4 years ago when I first came across one of your videos & now you’re the reason for my gardening journey! Currently have food garden going on as well as a few plants! My top 3 plants would have to be the Chinese hibiscus, salvias and the Purple Hearts!
beautiful garden with so much biodiversity. thanks for posting
I always enjoy your videos & your gardens are lovely. The different textures & colors are such a welcome change. So impressed with what you do for the planet. Great job
Looking forward to the wildflower garden along the walkway 😊
The garden is lookin killer bro! Keep the vids coming. Earth is my plaaaanet 🌏
Good job Paul! That looks great💯
Mr Paul. Your Carex are actually Liriope so that’s why they aren’t as big as you were expecting.
Don’t worry about that small Sabal minor they are slow when small so it will get going eventually.
I think you need a couple Sabal mexicana. Unfortunately I don’t have any small ones but I can hook you up with something else that is interesting.
Year 3 is always a big one so it’s looking pretty lush.
Your front garden is looking beautiful.
Love watching ❤
Lovely garden.
I took out 600 sq ft of boring suburban manicured lawn to create a wildlife oasis in my largely untouched backyard, to start. I've more plans.
I dug 8 holes for trees, then it rained for 4 days. I'm waiting for the holes to drain then it's play in the dirt time. I'm putting in another little wildlife pond too. I have boxwood cuttings in the spare bedroom doing their thing.
Piles of mulch and dirt just waiting for a lul in the heat to move. It's been interesting weather in Michigan this year. The most glorious spring ever, then straight into boiling pot of water.
This may be the last garden the lord can let me create, so I want it to be special. All my favorites. ❤❤❤
Love your videos. Keep postin'
My gardenias are sort of shaped like shrubs. They are amazing in a Houston garden!
Thanks Paul!
i think the painted bricks look good 👍🏾
Beautiful front yard, great design and flower choices👌
The front yard is looking so good! I love all of the Yuccas and Agaves. Mystic Spires is definitely #1 in my book!
Hi Paul. The front yard looks beautiful with these pretty native plants and If you decide not to remove the boxwood You can plant Star Jasmine and it will cover the dry one . Have a great day .🌿
OPUNTIA 🍾🍾
It's that time of year! Just posted a garden tour as well. Things are looking good! Always love the updates. I may have to put a small pond in like you did … next year 🙂
Looking great Paul! 💯 You are the realist! Love ya bro
I love your videos!! I’m slowly starting my native garden so I love to see how the plants actually look in the garden setting once they get bigger!! 🎉
Lovin' the progress of your front yard Garden of Eden! After a foundation repair required destruction of some of my front yard yopon holly shrubs, I went with additional removal of the rest of them and put in a transfusion of North Texas wildflowers. Best call ever. Next phase of my front yard transformation is to introduce wild grasses and gradually eliminate that bothersome Bermuda. Thanks for your inspiration!
Dawg that passionfruit vine go take over but it'll look cool & tropical climbing up that tree. I like the yucca & parple wandering dudes. Thats filling out nicely Looks like my yard. All my neighbors yards = basic. "Urth es ma plont!"
Awesome video. Have you seen invitation of testing a Pole Pruning Shears via email today?
Killing it with this garden! Nice work Paul
What happened with the land you bought?
I found you a couple years ago from your backyard pond. I'm in Texas also & enjoy your videos.
It's looking great!! I'm sure you cause a lot of envy (and inspiration).
Beautiful garden you have there. I have many of the natives you have. I have been a suburban gardener for over 40 years and joined the master naturalist program a few years ago. Much of my yard has been transitioned to coastal prairie natives and they multiply and bloom like crazy . . . just love it.
This was so helpful! I'm also in Houston and have been looking for native plants to fill out a few of my beds.
I see your PO Box I’m gonna send you some Cosmo seeds that I’ve been growing for 20 years. They almost self seed I mean there are very prolific and they’re beautiful and the bees the bumblebees and pollinators come.
Some nice plant choices👍🌱
Where did you get that alien?! Awesome addition to the garden w
Nice garden. My favorite plant is also sage (Salvia sclarea). A special insect lives on this plant. The largest bee in the world, which you can see from far away, flying slow over the rooftops like a fighter helicopter.
And it only eats this sage nectar. Each plant has its own specialists.
Lot of Plants makes a lot of diversity.
Greetings from Austria 👍🪻🌾
My husband and I love your channel. We recently bought a home in Magnolia with half my yard literally a forest. Your videos have been extremely helpful in keeping our acre a natural and native environment . Thank you for all of the work you put into these videos.
Sick layout. Totally axe the hedges and boxwood, do the wildflower thing. You have a good instinct and vision for it. Keep crushing it.
Let me find out we neighbors 😏
You're such a cool dude and I appreciate that you're planting native
Gorgeous native garden! Wonderful to see all these species mature and thriving in your care.
An amateur Botany gawd! 💯💪🏼❤️ Earth is my plawnet‼️
I was lucky enough to find you tonight (Aussie here)! I had so much fun watching the videos from your pond builds until now. Incredible how amazing this area looks now since I just watched it being built (15 minutes ago)! Very well done! I call you gardens "lasagne" gardens (layers on top of cardboard on top of whatever you have happening ie grass, dirt etc)… easiest garden beds I've ever made and they always thrive!
Tío,héroes genial COJONUDO DESDE ESPAÑA UN ADMIRADOR,P M.😂
I'm assuming you don't have a HOA or a high cost HOA? I'm over by Cinco Ranch, and I don't think I can do something like this…
