Thanks for the great video !
I am in zone 7a and I missed my fall planting of cool flowers this year. I am thinking I could sow the seeds for Corn Cockle in trays that have drainage (not cell packs) and leave them in my unheated greenhouse to get them to germinate. Does this sound doable to you Lisa and Layne? I’ve also direct sowed eight weeks before my last frost so I could try both ways. I’m a home YouTube gardener, not a flower farmer.
Thanks for all you do for the gardening community!
Great to start my new year with Lisa and Layne. I hope this is the beginning of many more Seed Talks
I would love to get your opinion on the viral videos on social media right now about winter sowing in milk jugs and how that compares from starting seeds indoors on heat mats. I thought I had a grip on cool flowers and now I’m confused
I have a moon garden and their choice on color makes me smile!
I think Pantone was on point with this years selection. The accompanying write-up makes sense. In my opinion, Cloud Dancer will age well when we look back upon it a few years down the road. Flowers wise, the first thing that comes to mind is Babys Breath for me.
Not a fan of the Pantone “color” this year, but I love tour video regarding this gorgeous flower! I’ll be planting early using paperpots in my garage and get in the ground as soon as it’s workable!
I stared noticing the color pantone when I was having babies. Every year the popular nursery colors changed. Then I started noticing those similar colors in all the things at the stores. I started applying that to what flowers I grow and my florist love me for it ❤🎉❤
