Watering with too cold of water. It’s freezing the roots

Your soil looks saturated and heavy. You could switch the soil with something chunkier and better draining. Does your pot have drainage? And when was the last time you checked the roots for rot. Sometimes a plant looks thirsty when it’s got rotted roots because the water isn’t being taken up by the plant properly.

Issues – pot has no drainage, soil looks really wet and compact, tree is not infront of the window but to the side?
These are tropical trees and as such, need lots of bright light. They do not do well with wet feet an absolutely need a pot with drainage.
