Mum has 8 of these plants that she’s bought over past couple of months. There is 2 that were climbing when she bought them, thing is I’ve looked and looked for her and I have NO CLUE!

I can’t find any end of a vine that looks like the ends that start climbing…. Can someone help me please?

They do take a while to send off the tendrils. I expect they need to develop decent roots first.

They love warmth, water, fertiliser, and sun. Keep those up to them and you should be right.

I’ve had one for about 8 years and it’s never climbed.

Some vines take a bit to get climbing when young as they work to establish their root systems first.

Give them a bit more time to get going.

In your 1st photo the middle one is starting to climb.

Our one struggled in the pot (yellowed leaves, aphids, dropping flowers) despite regular watering & fertilizer but is thriving now it’s planted out.
