This weekend, Alaska will celebrate all things agriculture at the Alaska Farm and Garden Show.
The event returns after its inaugural show last year at the Menard Sports Center in Wasilla. This year, it will take place Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1, inside Raven Hall at the State Fairgrounds in Palmer.
Attendees can enjoy free seminars and exhibits covering topics like greenhouses, food preservation, Alaska sourdough, beekeeping, solar energy, and more.
U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan is scheduled to deliver a keynote address Saturday at 2:00 p.m., adding to the weekend’s lineup of agriculture-focused activities.
