We’ve got incredible news for those who have really been missing experiencing tea at a particular Disney World hotel!

The walls are down at the Garden View Tea Room!

We’ve known for just about a week that the Garden View Tea Room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will finally reopen to guests after just under FIVE years of being closed on March 19th. We weren’t sure, though, just how quickly we may start to see progress on the construction site, but that day is today — the walls are down!

The Garden View Lounge is home to the Garden View Tea Room, and while the stanchions are still up to avoid guests going inside, the walls are down, and we could see inside very easily!

Walls are down!

We love seeing the big, floor-to-ceiling windows once again, and the gorgeous views they provide. Getting a table with a great view outside is certainly a plus!

We love these windows!

We could also see the multiple different types of seating available, which is another part we really love about this lounge.

Lots of different seating

One of our favorite parts, though? The stained glass windows across from the entrance to the lounge– talk about stunning!

Gorgeous!

Reservations for the Garden View Tea Room will open on February 19th, and you’ll want to keep a close eye out for the Alice in Wonderland touches around the space. During the tea experience, guests will be able to enjoy small bites and a selection of teas. Right now, the only other tea experience in Disney World is over at The Cake Bake Shop, which is lovely, but quite expensive. Prices haven’t been revealed for the Garden View Tea Room just yet, so we’ll be curious to see how it compares!
