Alvanley Gardens was cordoned off by police with multiple emergency services vehicles at the scene yesterday (January 29) at 4.28pm, following reports of the knife incident.
A London Air Ambulance also landed near the area as medics treated the patient at the scene.
No further details of the patient have been shared at this time, but they were taken to hospital for further treatment, our sister-site London Now reports.
Their condition is currently known, but the Metropolitan Police has been approached for more information.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.28pm on Thursday (29 January) to reports of a stabbing on Alvanley Gardens, West Hampstead.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched a helicopter from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre.”
This is a developing story with more information expected soon.
