Thank you for the video! Negative 3 here this morning in WV. I have a barn with a 4 ft. overhang, so I put up some nesting boxes yesterday with straw for the birds to use if needed to escape the expected snow and ice. I can also feed them there so they will have access to seed. My birdbath has an aquarium heater and it is keeping it free of ice for the most part. Stay safe everyone!

We are expecting 12 or more inches of snow plus COOOLD.
Since we don't have hummingbirds right now, I have bird feeders and stocked up on bird seed. We have MANY MANY cardinals plus all types of birds fluttering around enjoying the feed.

When you do your hummingbird feeder video, can you talk about ways to keep ants away? Last year, I had a TERRIBLE ant problem! Swarms on my feeder (hung on a shepherds hook) and the flowers in the large planter next to the feeder. I looked at the stem of the Liriope plant that normally has purple flowers, and all I could see was rows of ants! I love everything you do on your channel. You inspired me to do tote gardening, and that has gone very well. (I'm in southern Ohio) Made a birdbath, and that was fun, too. Thank you and Gary for showing us how to be successful with gardening! ❤

Thank you for thinking about all of us in the path ot the winter storm. Southern Illinois here. We got about a foot of snow. Some of the snow drifts that I had to dig through around my greenhouses/animal shelters was between 2 and 3 feet.
I fed the wild birds During the storm, they have gone thru 30 lbs of food in the last 3 days.

Ohio girl here! We got 18 inches of snow. Temps are dropping below 0. I'm not able to get out much. So, staying home looking for what I want to plant come Spring. I can't wait for sunshine.
Chilling (pun intended) here in TN. First one of these that our power has stayed on so it could be MUCH worse. I've been using vacation days, today is the first day I can tolerate the cold to do some work from home so that's a plus. My husband's grocery store is slammed with customers, everyone ran out of fresh food I suppose. It's been nice to be able to watch gardening videos and organize by garden plans.
