Even in the snow, we can dream of the garden! I'm in zone 5b, so it is a bit early for me to start seeds. Soon, though!
Gary, I live in zone 7b. It gets in mid 90s fast here. Bad tomatoes last year. Will shade cloth make that big a difference if I get 5 days of mid 90s in June like last year? I’ve never used it.

I have the same kind of shelving and they work so well. I converted an unused small bedroom into my grow room last year and I am also in the process of reorganizing to give much more needed space for plants and all the supplies I managed to obtain! Here is to a great New Year for our gardens!!!!
My inside tomatoes are finally starting to ripen!😊
I was so disappointed in my peppers last year. I planted 8 weeks before my planting date. They grew to about 3 inches and then just stopped. I kept them on a warming pad the whole time. I had 4 different kinds of peppers.😢 I am going to try again this year.

I’m new to gardening. I saw in a video where you used neem oil in your seed starting mix. How much do you use to clean soil before you put in seeds?
