Snap peas are the gardener’s snack. ❤
❤❤❤❤good morning 🌹🌹🌹😍
💚👍nice!!
I am in zone 9b in Northern California, I noticed my peppers producing for a long time into winter here as well.
This is the 1st time I had broccoli that did not bolt 😅
My tomatoes came up as volunteers in Nov/December and now flowering. Majority are cherry but may be others as a surprise! I had to pot some and give away!! SoCal Long Beach zone 10B
Campanula is both pronunciations. American dictionary said NOO and Webster's says PAN. I've always heard and pronounced it PAN.
You look like the actress from 50 shades of Grey
Nice garden 🫛🍅🌿🌞
Your garden looks great! I’m trying to overwinter my hibiscus as well, but I think this upcoming cold snap may take them out. We’ll see. 🧡🧡
I live in laveen Arizona but I'm super beginner on growing my own food and was wondering what kind of advice you could tell me to get started
Hi, may I ask how to prevent asparagus in ground from spreading all over the yard? Did you install root barrier around that raised bed?
Thanks. Swiss chard is always the star of my small Phoenix area winter garden. I didn't even have to replant it this year because it survived the summer and began to produce again during the autumn. Those plants are growing like crazy now.
Kale is another star for me right now. Small but growing well and great in salads.
I plant broccoli for the sprouts and cut and eat them in salads. In the past I've had problems with wildlife eating mature broccoli florets.
We had frost?! Lol. Here in Surprise, it's been great! It's wonderful harvesting romas in winter. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes at the same time! 😊
Can I turn sweet allysum under, or just leave them? One other question. When topping up compost around, like strawberries, how do I avoid covering the crown? Or should I lift them out and transplant them back? I currently grow them in a metal trough the soil level, along with the plants are going lower and lower into the trough bed. Thanks!
First time I sowed Sugar pea. Just harvested fir sir-fry with 3 layered pork so good. I don't let get too big, it'll be hard to chew😂 my cabbages is still growing first time sowing it as well. Hope i get some before 100 F hits 😂. Your garden looks great as always!!
I need to try the nettting idea for my zinnia. I always plant a lot of them and they get so tall. Some of them about 4 ft
Your garden is doing so well this season! I’m amazed at the difference in your weather in Mesa compared to the weather here in Sun City West. We had no frost or hail, and little rain. But it has been warm and my plants are really growing.
I hope we’ll get to see a video on how you prune your grapes.
Thanks for the tour!
My brassica seedlings kept bolting in October and November. So I got a really late start. Still no harvest there. However, I got tomato volunteers starting in October that are about ready to harvest. And they keep popping up. I just pot them and give them away as baby tomato plants. I clipped most of my pepper plants back but they started sprouting new leaves right away. Now I have buds almost ready to blossom along with bell peppers ready to harvest. I even have an eggplant that has baby fruit on it. I put tall stakes around my warm weather beds and covered with a clear plastic drop cloth at night. We're in Los Angeles County and we didn't really get a winter here, yet. I just hope all the brassicas make it without bolting. Fingers crossed 🤞!
I love these garden tours, they're great for giving me an idea of how the weather affects the crops. Also I've got to find nicotinia, those are lovely blooms
Lovely video.
I had two garlic plants die and have one that has survived so far
Those pesky green caterpillars were damaging this year but tomatoes are doing great! I had to get some BT.
Where did you get your tomato cages?
Love your videos Angela! I am mortally scared of Nicotiana! not a fan of those. They grow wild and smother neighboring plants and they shed a ton of seeds. They drip so much nectar that they attracted a ton of ants for the first time in my garden. also, I was extremely stressed because the plant is supposed to be toxic and I have a very curious puppy .
The bark you have covering your ground has a nice bown color and looks very even in size. Can I please ask what it is? It really makes everything pop so beauifully.
How did you decide where to do mulch and where to do pea gravel? I'm torn about what to do in my back yard.
My romas are exploding also!
Thanks for sharing love your videos!
Garden looks amazing! So lush and green. Thanks for sharing!
I have cherry tomatoes in my Florida container garden. They are from Botanical Interests. 🍅
Hi there, I live in Perth Australia, and our summers get VERY hot. I'm just curious about the mulch you are using on your beds. Is it the same wood chips you have on your paths, or is it different? Thx Jen 😊
This is the first year my tomatoes have been producing all winter. Do you let yours continue to grow into the following summer or pull them out in the spring and replant?
Have you ever tried Thresh Seed Co, Renee’s Garden, Pepper Guru, and Row 7 Seeds?
Ur garden looks amazing!! Do u recommend cutting back asparagus plants even if they’re still green? I was considering doing it but I don’t want to hurt my plant
Can you tell me what mosquito trap that is? I'd like to give those a shot. Thx!
What sunlight do your grapes get? Mine are on the east side of my house and have really struggled. I'm thinking of planting new ones this year in a new spot in my yard. Do you have any suggestions on sunlight, soil prep, etc that helped your grapes do well?
Hi! I’m from CA and have been thoroughly enjoying your videos. This is the look I am trying to achieve in my own vegetable garden. Where did you get your tall arbors? They are so beautiful! Currently I have cattle panels, though they work great, they are not nearly as pretty as I am wanting long term. Thank you so much for your videos!!
Melissa
Doesn’t look like winter in your garden. Looking forward were how your fruit trees perform. Your citrus, amazing!!
I'm in Southern California im still harvesting my gold cherry tomatoes.
I live in Arizona as well. Not far from Mesa and I’m very curious about your tomatoes. Did you grow them during winter (loosely saying winter lol)?
It's been too mild for lettuce type crops for me in Tucson. Harvesting Tomatoes still. Unusual. Cilantro, cabbage, broccoli, carrots way too slow to grow. Same for sugar snap peas. They look fine but not large growth. Thanks for sharing Angela.
I am really good at growing snap peas to like 10” from seed and then they just…. Stop
Beautiful! Can't wait for spring
Does your elevated bed have holes on bottom?
