All this guy has done since i bought him is get smaller and smaller… I put it in chunky soil, near a light source, water every few days, and still just not doing good. Help please😭

    There are basically no roots growing no matter what I do.

    This is a !sempervivum and will not do well inside. And you’re definitely over watering at this stage

    Just sit it on some gritty soil and blast it with a grow light (gradually) It doesn’t look like it needs anymore water.

    They do best outside but they need to be acclimated.

    These are sempivernums and really struggle inside. Theyre extremely cold and heat hardy and can handle most weather. My mum gave me a load from her garden that had been there a good 9 years and they struggled inside, I put it outside on my windowsill (i have a shared balcony) and its been doing great since. Even with the snow and -10c weather theyre completely fine. Get it in a bright south facing window for now and move it outside asap
