Very nice. But why don't you guys use more Florida native plants and more plants for butterflies and bee's and hummingbirds.

I'd love a no grass yard. My landscaping is dismissal. I'm struggling because my house faces south. I can't figure out what I can plant because half the year is all shade and half is all sun. I've only been in Florida for 3 years so I'm still trying to learn.

I love what you did with this back yard! I, too, am fighting with oak tree roots – will it be ok to trim back the roots on fire spikes and burle Marx? I’m building up the dirt around the planting area but of course, I can’t get too close to the trunks.
This backyard is just beautiful! Those Icetone Crotons are magnificent with their color! You introduced us to a few new plants I’ve not heard you mention in other videos, so I enjoyed learning about those. I’d love a grass-less backyard but I have dogs that need to do their business back there. Does your beautiful baby do her business in the pathways in your own backyard, Jennifer?

How do you eradicate torpedo grass? I have tried digging it out and I always miss some of the roots and then it takes over again. I love the work you do with it being tropical and easy for a homeowner to manage. ❤
I love this design. I have two large dogs, so I must have some grass and room for them to run around, but this is absolutely gorgeous! ❤

Can most of these tropical plants be used in Zone 9b amd how do they do if/when winters hit in the mid-20s. I'd really love to add somw of the tropicals to my garden here in Houston.
