I set up my grow room in my basement laundry room and now in the winter I'm realizing it is MUCH too chilly and drafty in there. I have much to think about with this greenhouse plastic tip you share! Thank you!
Traping air between the plastic and Sheetrock actually creates sweat and mold

I would love to find a way to affordably automate a watering system for my seedlings. They are indoors in my unfinished basement. Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas? Thank you!
upgraded from a 2x2x3 grow tent to a 4x2x5 and put a vertical rack inside for seedlings and starts. Also keep my overwintered peppers in there. great so I can wake up the peppers earlier and gett them ready to produce earlier even if they're going to stay in pots and not go back to the ground, and start seedlings much more efficiently.
Good to see some grow room/tent content that isn't centered around home weed growers. Unfortunately that's the major driver for stuff Vivosun makes, and that's where most of the content creators are for info about these setups. Hardly see too many folks that garden talk about grow rooms or tents unless they're also commercial
I use VIPARSPECTRA P2000 LED Grow Lights, and they are sooooo good to me.
I had planned to do some upgrades to mine but with the snow and ice I need to replace the cover this year instead.
Any concerns about your eyes with those grow lights? Wow…
Ridgid insulation would be a better choice for that ceiling,it is a vapour barrier and has R5/inch.plastic will not solve your problem of thermal ridging and you may get condensation because you have warm and humid on one side of the plastic and cold on the other.The plastic can do what the ridgid insulation can do tho as far as vapour barrier,but condensation will be avoided if you place a layer of fiberglass insulation on top at this point .Thanks for you videos Sir
I have the ugliest setup for starting my seeds. I took the cheap grow tent from Walmart and added poly panels. I also added LED grow lights, fan, heat mats. I also put aluminum foil on the wall behind and the door in front. I start about 800 flowers and vegetables every year. I don't think there's a "right" way you just need to find what works for you
You really need led glasses if using those lights, Luke. You will certainly damage your 👀 over time without them.
Can you please do a show on when you are starting which seeds? I feel like if I am watching, I am running late😆🙂 also, seems a small greenhouse would be a great fix for us small growers, and those shelves😊

I have been using the rolling restaurant for years, with aquarium plant grow lights hooked to the upper level. Works like a charm in the 9×10 room I converted into my gtow room! I even put a small recliner in there to read at night and for my coffee in the am! Thanks for the humidity issues. I will be adding 2 cool mist vaporizers to combat that. I also have a small space heater that looks like a small fireplace for warmth and ambiance! It has become my happy place since I fill it with my tropicals during the winter, saving space on the rack for starting my seedlings for my garden! I actually have an avocado tree blooming in there! 😊😊
