    To keep your coir liners from sinking down in a hayrack, whipstitch a high quality coconut coir liner to the top edge of the hayrack using 50 lb fishing line and a needle with a large eye. Then use empty soil bags, cut lengthwise, to line it, making a 1" slit at the bottom every 6" or so for drainage. This not only keeps the liner from sinking, it also keeps it from drying out so fast.
    This method can be adapted to any hanging basket, rail rack or hayrack with a coir liner.
