AN Easter Ross garden centre could be set for expansion, after a proposal submitted to the Highland Council.
Ian Downes of Cafe Tomich Ltd has proposed the addition of units to the business located on Tomich Farm Road. At the moment the site consists of the Tomich Cafe and Restaurant, with the garden centre and another existing building.
The proposal would see the addition of two craft shop units, as well as a gift shop and another building with garden centre merchandise. These units would feature grey timber-framed windows, with loglap cladding painted white and a grey metal roof.

Building work to replace an existing timber building with a newer building has begun, as the applicant was not aware this needed planning consent and is now seeking permission in retrospect.
Cafe Tomich is located on Tomich Farm Road, 125m from the Tomich Junction connecting the A9 with Invergordon and the likes of Rhicullen.
Last month saw an application from the Highland Council, proposing to replace the staggered A9 Tomich Junction with a four-arm roundabout.
The planning application is currently under the consideration of the Highland Council.
