I love plants & creating with them-this is my vision of a tub of succulents that look like flowers/rosettes. They were all a lot smaller when this was made a month ago, I kinda threw starters together & watched them to see what would happen. They are doing good for now, my hopes & questions for discussion with yall are:

  1. Do they need separated now/which ones

  2. Echevaria (I know I butchered spelling) are newer to me and I’ve got several in here what are the key things to make them thrive?

I took these pics in natural light. It sits under a grow light for 12 hours a day. The basin has drainage holes I drilled before planting. Citrus/cacti/succulent soil mix w extra perlite mixed in and small pebbles/perlite layer on the bottom.

I realize some of these things are beautiful now but not optimal for things to thrive so any suggestions & constructive criticism is welcomed.

✨If any of yall have done similar, I would love to see your creations in the comments! 🫶🏻

Echeveria are wonderful once you get to know them. They really like light but most don’t want to be in full sun. I put most of mine under a 50% shade cloth during the spring and summer and they love it. They’re also a squidge more cold hardy than most succulents: I’ll push mine down to around freezing and they do alright with it for the most part (as long as the soil is dry). Gorgeous arrangement, should fill out quite nicely.
