I think this one's about to bloom? Or am I misunderstanding succulent language? =)

I doubt it, because I was sure these guys send out a long stalk for flowering, but here the flowers are right in the rosette.

Also, could anyone try to identify this? I thought it was an Echeveria setosa, but I recently saw several at an exhibition, and this one isn't quite like those – its hairs are shorter, stiffer, and more closely spaced.

    Yes, that looks very much like a flower about to open. No idea about the species sorry

    This looks like an inflorescence was removed, mistaken for an offset. Probably was from an echeveria harmsii.
