  1. cold snap coming to Tampa so I will be hiding inside for a few days lol. I have about 100 watermelon starts to plant but think freeze cloths will be warring me out for the next month so just putting them into my tiny greenhouse for now

  2. Good morning from South Florida! I started a 🤬 load of seeds yesterday. I’m so excited for my 2026 garden and I’m looking forward to seeing your garden thrive!

  3. Not good. The only survivors from everything I planted are kale and swiss chard. All the rest of my winter garden were frozen, overheated on the few hotter days, or covered with aphids. Its very frustrating, and I am considering if the effort and money is worth it anymore.

  4. Is it to late to start Independence Day Tomato seeds? Or Early girl hybrid seeds? I have never done seeds before so this will be the first time I have ever done it. I didn’t realize I should have gotten the seeds started in December. I live in Ocala.

  5. Finally scored Fourth of July tomato seeds and short and sweet carrots HD has the new seed display. Honestly Jacqueline watching your videos earlier in the day is bad for my wallet 😂 filled the trunk with a load of annuals this morning too🤣🤣👏👏👏

  6. I'm in north florida and would like to try the eggplant. What do you use on your eggplant to prevent flea beetles and other pest pressure?

  7. Panhandle here. Still getting cold at night. Rain has kept it warmer though. Found Everglades tomatoes which i have started inside. Getting two behives too. Adding bunch of blueberries.

  8. Loving your videos. Thanks. I'm in the Seminole area (10b) and they're predicting it'll get down into the upper 30's to around 40 here in a few days. At what temps do you cover most crops – particularly tomato's and eggplant?

  9. I just packed up all my frost fabric from a week ago and was hoping I wouldn’t have to put it back out!

Had some plants get a little wear, mainly my mango tree lol, but all in all everything survived!

  10. I'm in Dover and I've been trying to grow all kinds of squashes for 3 years and for 3 years….everything fails. Doesn't matter what time of year I do it, the plants die and never put on fruit. If anyone has specific types, cultivars, plant dates, etc., that would be super helpful. Thanks v

  11. I love dragon tongue beans, its a bush bean. Great flavor and no string. Question on the cranberry hibiscus -what do you tend to do with this?

  12. I have been growing a paste tomato called Granadero and a grape tomato Juliette purchased from Johnnyseeds and they are absolutely my favorite. I have low disease problems, and they produce a ton of tomatoes. I put up 17 quarts of tomato sauce and 5 quarts of salsa, plus diced tomatoes. Definitely give it a try.

  13. I've planted tomatoes, jalapeños, corn, onions, also planted herbs and fruits. I'll be planted watermelon, pumpkin and squash.
I do a lot of canning.
