Do you have product names of what you use?
I’m using less and less makeup each day. Mascara, lipstick gloss, eyebrow color.
When we lived in Los Angeles may neighbor was a makeup artist for the industry, ,also her husband was jack nickelsons makeup artist. Heard lots of fun stories from them.
Interesting you included makeup, I'm actually glad. I've been wanting to see videos or shorts of (older) females applying makeup (I'm 57). I know there are makeup videos/shorts on YT but I don't know that many older women do – or homesteaders.
I paused on applying makeup (5-10) yrs ago – but I've been thinking about doing it again. I was never "into" that "80s Dallas" look… and yes I remember ETaylor
I love your homestead channel but it would be neat to see some shorts featuring makeup, what you use & why. 🌺
I went with my daughter recently to Sephora to help her select cosmetics… that was a cool & different experience…

I used to never leave my house without makeup. Wore it every day to the office. In my late 50s, I developed an eye disorder that caused excessive tearing of my eyes. That ruined any eye make up I was wearing, so I stopped wearing eye make up. Wearing foundation, blush and all the other things looked out of place without a nicely done set of eyes, so eventually I just stopped. Haven't worn make up in over a decade, with the exception of when I went to NYC in 2019. You can't go to NYC and not be well put together, in my opinion. Now, I don't go anywhere. Even work my day job from home, so I don't bother. The only thing I wear is whipped tallow balm which I make myself…and my calendula salve for dry hands, elbows and feet. Your video makes me curious as to how I would look if I put on a bit of makeup, since it's been so long. I might buy some blush, lipstick and some mascara just to try it out.
