I’ve always loved these, but never had much room for the big boys. I just got the mini version a few weeks ago. It’s *supposed* to be the standard red backed version, but it looks to be the mini green instead. 😒 Maybe it will get the red like yours as it grows off? Anyway, yes, gorgeous plant!

I just chopped mine up:( spider mites got her and she was unrooted and way too tall. Going to try again this season:)

I just got one and it’s definitely one of my favs. That black red green velvety goodness. It’s currently throwing a fit at my low humidity (in n fl where it’s ridiculously cold right now). I won’t do moss poles and I’m toying with the idea of letting mine trail when she’s a bit bigger. I have it on a wood stake now but just saw a video on YT where someone phased out moss poles and let theirs trail and it’s gorgeous

Gorgeous! They are spider mites magnets, tho. Mine just lost their leaves to an infestation.

Yours is such a beauty!! May I hijack a little and ask if mine is moving away from the light? Light meter gives me ~250 foot candles from the overhead light. I googled and recommended is 400-800 depending on variety.
