VICTORIA, Texas — The Victoria County Master Gardener Association is opening its doors to prospective members with an informational meet and greet designed to showcase their comprehensive training program and educational mission.

The organization will host the event on January 31 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Victoria Educational Gardens Pavilion, located at the airport. The gathering serves as a recruitment opportunity for the association’s annual 50-hour certification training program that transforms novice gardeners into certified master gardeners.

For those interested in learning more about gardening, sustainable practices, and community education, the January 31 meet and greet offers an accessible introduction to the master gardener program and the resources available through the Victoria Educational Gardens.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon at the Victoria Educational Gardens Pavilion, providing ample time for visitors to explore the gardens and speak with current master gardeners about the training program and certification process.
