  1. I always enjoy your videos your yard is gorgeous thank you for sharing I don’t do yard work anymore just houseplants I’m 75 just can’t get around like I use too I’m the one who lives in Midlothian Va

  2. You can divide Peachy's Pick Stokes Aster. I've devided mine, and they've done really well. I love your channel!

  3. You know I've been waiting for you to put out the backyard video. LOL. Love your backyard. It looks so spacious, lush and serene. I'm glad that I'm not the only one having crabgrass break through the newly done sheet mulching. I've resorted to spraying the sprigs as they break through. I also love drift roses. I have 4 that I got on clearance about 3 years ago, from Home Depot for $8 each.

  4. I am out of town and boy do these Lowe's here got the biggest clearance plants racks I ever seen but can't shop cause we are in a hotel, they might think I would be crazy if I started bringing my flowers and put them out front,we will be here 2 weeks

  5. You ARE NOT a lazy gardener; you have worked so hard this spring & summer under unbearable conditions {weather}. I usually start getting tired in late August. Your plants look so good, especially your pink Drift roses.

  6. Things are really turning out in your garden. I'm so excited for the pathways too! Hey, doesn't the lemony lace elderberry want full sun? Is that why they are dropping their leaves?

  7. Hi Jess 🌺. What a wonderful place to have in your backyard. Everything looks so beautiful and amazing. The view of hydrangeas is a marvel of beauty. Have a beautiful day. 🌺🌻🌺🌻

  8. You are anything but a lazy gardener! I think you're amazing. That's Sawfly larva eating the Hibiscus. I have that problem too! There is a tree and shrub drench by Fertilome that you can use to combat them. You might look into that. Your garden looks absolutely amazing!

  9. Pop star hydrangea has performed poorly in my landscape as well. Even in cool temperatures. I live in zone 8a. It died all the way down last winter and has not rebounded yet. Good luck and let me know how yours bounce back please .

  10. Hi Jess, would you mind adding your second channel as part of the description? I bet most of us have no idea and would love to follow. The garden is looking good. Love the hummingbird feeder. Jax, I'm just chilling.🐕♥

  11. Your rose is looking fab! Oh no! You put so much work into your drip system. I wonder if the pressure issue stems from the 5/8 supply lines you installed. I thought that would provide better pressure vs traditional 1/2 inch. Keep us posted!

  12. Garden is coming along, gurl the plants were telling it's too hot😂take care of you i too have lots of opportunity going on from heat and bunnies an other creatures. TRUST I TOO SHALL B VISITING SOME NURSERY .THANKS FOR SHARING NJOYED IR

  13. Teddy bears are my favorite magnolia. They do great in Texas zone 8b. Your garden looks a whole lot better than mine. As far as roses, yes they struggle and don’t look so good in summer, but just let them be. I know it’s tempting to pull and replace, but trust me, in fall they’ll think it’s spring and put another flush. I have drift and several English roses, a lot got defoliated but I keep them watered and I know it’s completely normal.

  14. Lovely!! I need advice my friends giving me like 50 hostas lol I love it!! Yet they are dark green and leggy and are in shade my space is very bright should I just try? Also she has a ton of lily of the valley? I'm in NY but not a ton of shade yet I should just consider an umbrella lol

  15. If you deadhead the kniphofia booms, it will send out new bloom shoots throughout the season. Mine is still blooming and is continuing to send up blooms even now. I’m in zone 7a in MD.
