So far I have already ordered a pillea depressa "tiny tears," I also have a few tillandsias I already ordered. I want to wait until the background and false bottom are 100% complete first tho. The pics are just for visualization purposes/plant ordering and everything was gently removed afterwards.
The other plants on my list are as follows: Alocasia Amazonica "Bambino" (BG/focal plant), Calathia lamcifolia "rattlesnake" (rattlesnake prayer plant, another BG plant), staghorn fern (adding to background, tucked behind the wood on the left side in that nook), Jewel orchid (against the bg as well, but sort of underneath the Alocasia for shade), pothos N' joy (inside the net pot- that's where that's going), pellionia repens – trailing watermelon (foreground/mid ground plant), ficus pumila quercifolia (kinda all over the place as thin and individual vines).
I also have various Mosses in my cart as well.
What do we think? I kinda wanted an anthurium in here but I can't find a decently cheap one anywhere and I worry they'll get too big, Le sigh.
Also I'm aware I need water feature plants, that'll be next on the list. Wish I could find anubias nana petite inexpensively. I might have to go with bucephalandra instead. Just 3-5 pieces would do!
I'm excited though! It finally feels like this project is coming along… Yippee! 😁
