Hello! This will be my first post here. To be honest I have been sort of snooty about not wanting aroids because they're "just leaves to me" 😂 but some are really beautiful I'm just scared of them.
I had a warcoqueanum (sp?) a few years ago and it seemed to be dead within weeks. I've been growing orchids for about 15 years but I need advice on how to keep this plant alive so I can get one.
Would it need to go in my plant tent and would I need to keep the humidity really high? My humidity ranges from about 50-80%. I grow under lights only and my high light plants are vandas which need about 3,000-6,000 footcandles of light, my lower light plants about 1,000-2,000 footcandles. Thanks! 🪴

Oh also, what is the preferred media for these? I think the media was part of the reason mine didn’t make it. Idk what bullshit mixture I came up with but it didn’t seem to like it. I see a lot of people using inorganic media looks like little rocks, do they like semi-hydro?
