I’m expanding the definition of Growing Joy these days…
First it was with houseplants
Then is was with houseplants + edible gardens
Then it was with houseplants + edible gardens + flowers
And the plant obsession kept expanding
❤️
Now I feel a pull to more.
To nature.
To trees.
To wildlife.
To hummingbirds.
To pollinators.
To the “more than human world”
All WHILE still loving
Houseplants
Edible gardening
Flowers
❤️
So we’ll continue to grow together on this journey of education, expansion, unfurling and always always always JOY.
❤️
I explain this expansion in detail on this weeks solo heart to heart podcast episode, if you’re curious.
❤️
What are you finding yourself most drawn to these days?
PS: you’ll still find fresh plant care and gardening episodes every month on the pod, we are just expanding to other nature content as well this year to keep feeding our curiosity and connection!

  1. I love this. my house plants completely changed my life. I’ve become such a different person, a better more appreciative person. I used to love make up and materialistic things now you would never catch me wearing a Designer bag or dare I say spend money on something that cost that much. But you will catch me buying myself a beautiful hybrid, anthurium or Korean succulents. I wouldn’t be caught wasting money on material things when I could just buy a plant. I’ve learned to appreciate nature and little things in life. My house plans introduced me to my outdoor plants which introduced me to gardening which has made me appreciate things like the hummingbirds and the bees. I used to run when I would see a Bee but now I smile I admire it and appreciate it Beauty and all it does for the Earth. And I really like this version of me better. ❤
