ST. LOUIS—21 intricately designed, interactive installations will captivate guests of the Missouri Botanical Garden soon.

From April 10 to Sept. 26, the Garden will have HYBYCOZO installations presented by Patterns in Nature.

The large, geometric sculptures manipulate light filtering through them into mesmerizing displays of shapes and design around them. In 2014, artists, Serge Beaulieu and Yelena Filipchuk, made these displays that were inspired from “inherent beautfy found in mathematics, science and natural phenomena,” per the Garden.

Since then, HYBYCOZO has been featured globally.

“HYBYCOZO’s large-scale geometric sculptures reveal the hidden systems that shape the natural world,” states the Garden. “As sunlight and illumination filter through intricate designs, shifting patterns bloom across the landscape, inviting you to explore, reflect and feel a deeper connection to the world around you.”

This is the first time the HYBYCOZO displays are in Missouri.

Daytime viewing is included with the Garden’s general admission. Members received unlimited free access during the day hours and discounts for the evenings; they also are priviledged to a Member Preview Night on April 10.

During the evening viewing, via a purchased LightForm Admission, live music, special food and beverage offerings are available for purchase as the HYBYCOZO sculptures are illuminating, truly showcasing the beauty they’re capable of.
