BBC Gardeners’ World star Adam Frost gave viewers some planting advice as he appeared on Morning Live

Gardener’s World presenter Adam Frost has confessed to feeling somewhat “uncomfortable” following a woman’s revelation that she “threatens” her plants.
The horticulturist, whose BBC programme recently left audiences emotional, made an appearance on Morning Live on Friday (January 16), to discuss how best to care for plants during the chilly and damp weather conditions.
During the BBC programme, members of the public were interviewed about their plant care routines and cultivation advice, and when one woman disclosed her approach to stimulating growth, the presenter couldn’t help but make a light-hearted quip about it, reports Wales Online.
Presenter Gethin Jones teased the upcoming segment at the start of Friday morning’s programme, remarking: “We’ll hear more later, but here’s one for you now Adam, have a listen to this.”

The woman appeared in a video snippet stating: “I talk to them. I sort of threaten them, ‘You’ve got to grow.’ Don’t be too nice to them.”
Chuckling, Gethin said: “I’m not sure we’ve ever heard threaten your plants as advice.
“I felt really uncomfortable,” TV star Adam admitted with a smile.
The woman’s clip was shown again more later in the programme, as a Morning Live correspondent ventured out to question members of the public about their plant maintenance habits.
Alongside her previous remarks, she was heard saying: “I like the challenge I think. Can I make them grow?
“Some of them are difficult. You want to strangle them because they are not growing nicely.”

As the show returned to the studio, Adam appeared somewhat startled by what he’d witnessed.
“So we talked about this at the top of the show, so where are you at on threatening your plants as a way to keep them alive?” asked Gethin, who presented the episode of the show alongside TV personality Michelle Ackerley.
“I found that lady quite scary!” confessed the gardening expert.
