Gothic gardens, blue gardens, red gardens, English gardens, and Pantone color themed gardens. Themes are fun and can be interesting, but this year’s garden theme might just be the worst ever.

  1. All white goes against everything I feel as a gardener coming out of winter! White is beautiful and perfect when used against red, purple, pink and peachy blushy flowers, or blue! Blue! Maybe some various shades of yellows. But white alone? Not sure I can do that because I have been dreaming of bright gorgeous flowers all winter!

  2. I had to Google Pantone…
Ty Luke! Love your channel and you helped me save so much $. Less hours in trucking equal less paycheck. I have cabbage carrots and parsnips parsley and sage still in my garden. Potato’s onions and shallots too. I live near you zone 6b. But most importantly, joy.

  3. What about white carrots?
I would never do this theme since I try to "eat the rainbow". I'm not buying the rainbow; I'm going to grow it!

  4. I had a slight obsession with purple things last year. Not everything worked out but I tried. Purple broccoli, purple cauliflower, purple cabbage, purple carrots, purple peppers, eggplant, tomatillos, beans, everything I could find in purple I went for it. It wasn't a monochrome garden though I had a diversity of colors but I thought it was cool to find so many purple options.

  5. With my front flower garden I just plant anything and everything that comes up from my seed trays. No planning & def no color matching.

  6. Y'all should have announced a photo contest for gardeners who actually want to do this!! 🤣🤣 I don't but it would be awesome to see a bunch of themed gardens 😁

Oooo!!! I love your garden theme "around the world" – that's something I'd definitely be interested in!! ❤

  7. Sounds like a cool challenge. It’s going to be white and green by default. I just googled white gardens and they are beautiful

  8. Says the man sitting in a room with cream colored walls…lol — a cream colored garden would be classically lovely and could be very cottage feeling or very Victorian feeling.
Color-themed gardens are based on flowers Luke, not veggies. — Now a "pizza themed garden," or a "potato salad" themed garden" most of us could get behind that!
