I bet, the feeling is rewarding. We are to hopefully be buying a house this year and it’s going to be a fixer upper. Scary but super exciting at the same time. ❤
Water just the soil so t wet the plants. The water I no the plant/flowers with cause it to burn in the sun. So water early first thing In the morning to allow the water drop lets to evaporate before the hard sun comes out.
Rosmary is a good shrub to keep pest away they have pretty dainty blooms as well. Also the mints keeps ants away but if they are not contained can get out of hand. Especially if they have access to plenty water. But once again can be trimmed easily. You also might try a lemon balm plant. You can rub the leaves on you to repell bugs.😊
Many herbs serve multiple uses. They are fairly easy to grow. Most thrive with cutting/pruning. Can be perennial if climate allows. Grow a Bay tree for me! 😊
I like the walk way . Looks good. As long as you are happy with it , is all that matters. Enjoy your life. You have made a difference over the year. Throw a party just for you and your mate. Live a little. ❤🎉learn your flowers I had too. Plastic works great too. 😂🎉
Letting you know yea tree essential oil is great for bugs… you can make a pray … I think I added alcohol and not much water👍🏻it kills mold too👍🏻and no poisonous bug spray ‼️‼️😁your home looks nice 👍🏻👍🏻‼️
If u r trying to water your plants u should look into doing a olla pot …. While those made for gardens cost r more expensive a dyi olla pot is not that expensive…. The size of your window boxes , I did a dyi olla pot for under $15, pint size about 3, and only having to remember to fill it up every 8-10 days….. plus it saved on the water bill…. A olla pot is a porous terra cotta vessel/pot that once buried slowly leaks water… it’s better to look up via YouTube to understand it….. hope this helps!!!
Use boric acid under the house for ALL bugs. Open a grate or something and pour the powder while using a leaf blower to spread the powder throughout the basement. Lasts forever as long as it doesn't get wet. Have fun.
I love your videos. They inspire me to do more around my home to personalize it and make it look better. I’m excited about the awning you’re installing because my back door needs one bad. I wanna see if it’s something I can do.

Just repair the rest lf the house already..
You should use rock glue over the rocks by the foundation, it’ll keep bugs from burrowing underneath
It is looking great.

Can you give us an update on what y'all have finished and what y'all want done.
Try a few citronella plants ❤. They repel not only roaches, but a lot of other pests as well! Plus, they smell lovely 😊.
Nice job you guys

I have been enjoying watching your progress on your yard since I found this channel. 😀👍
Girl, terracotta pots without holes in them saturate the soil around, you can simply fill the pot up and water weekly biweekly
👏👏👏
