Prime ark blackberries are an exception to this. They are both primocane and floricane. The branches produce as a primocane the first year and then produce as a floricane the following.
My husband & I have read multiple sites & we still came away wondering which blackberry & raspberry canes we have. They made the entire articles so convoluted you couldn't tell which from which.
