Another YouTuber I watch melts down gummies in hot water then chills it and makes drinks out of it. I think youβd like that.
I think it's the collagen that is slimy. I'm vegan so I don't eat that but you might want to split the mix into two drinks so it isn't as thick.

You could switch to Beef bone broth protein powder which works well in soups, steamed eggs, and meatballs. Otherwise, the froth can be reduced if you shake it by itself in a small amount of liquid, like 4-6oz, then let it sit for a couple minutes before stirring it into smoothies/drinks. Otherwise, you could bake the powder in pancakes or oats to avoid the slime. But you could embrace the slime by making whipped yogurt with it. Just melt gelatin, mix the powder into 1/3 the yogurt, then whip everything into slightly warmer than room temp yogurt. Timing and temp is everything but the texture makes a nice fluffy dessert once itβs chilled
I gave up on the powders because imo they are all gross and mess with my stomach. I started focusing on higher protein foods instead, and my gut has been happier. Tuna is shockingly high in protein, some are up to 30g per can! Idk about you, but I can easily throw back 2 cans of that ish like it ain't shit. Especially if I've got celery, mayo and toast. π My protein go-to's are tuna, Greek yogurt, beans and roasted chicken breast/thigh and it's pretty easy to hit protein goals that way. Tuna 2x a week and I bulk cook the chicken/beans so when I'm hungry I have protein ready to go in the fridge.
Running into an ex, or associate of an ex, in public is one of my greatest fears. The old me and the current me are NOT the same. My willingness/need to be perceived in general is very low, but being perceived by people that think they still know me is of the utmost CRINGE! π π
Collagen protein isn't the same as traditional protein from meat, cheese eggs or beans. And shouldn't count towards your total protein goals.

Try out Ghost, they have delicious protein shakes and I use Meyenberg goat milk in it. As for the collagen peptide, Vital proteins collagen peptides is what I drink. The chocolate one is the best tasting in my opinion.
