I think i have an echeveria melaco (I got it as a gift, labeled “succulent”.) It has been blooming for about 6 months, which makes me think it’s happy. (I cut off the arms with spent blooms – this arm just showed up last week.) Until about 2 weeks ago, it had leaves on the bottom half, but it has been reabsorbing them (I think that’s the term). They’re shriveling up and dropping one by one, from the bottom upward. Google says the blooms aren’t death blooms, so I’m getting mixed messages – is it happy or unhappy? I have it in front of a south-facing window.

Extremely etiolated, needs more light. Unhappy plant.
Repot and make sure that the pot actually drains. I find these pots hold water in the bottom.
Definitely etoliated – that long stem is just reaching for light.
But other than that, it’s got a nice color and the leaves look nice and full. It doesn’t look like it’s in bad shape at all.
If you want to grow a more traditional one, the leaves root really easily. You buy one plant and you end up with a free army lol.
I would cut these and have two plants.
But also, I wouldn’t want too. Cause of that beautiful flower. Lol
