Ron Smith & Co, which covers Worcestershire, Herefordshire and beyond, claimed the 2025 Garden Machinery Dealer of the Year Award.
The specialist garden machinery dealership, founded in 1967 by the late Ron Smith, has been based at its current showroom in Newtown Road since 1981 and also has a site in Hereford.

The award was announced and presented to managing director Mark Smith, Ron’s son, at the Service Dealer Conference and Awards by Stewart Carter, managing director from sponsors Husqvarna.
The 21st year of the awards, organised by business magazine Service Dealer, recognised outstanding sales, service advice and support by dealers in the garden, professional turfcare and farm machinery industry.
Awards are also given for new technician of the year, star of the dealership, best new initiative, customer and leadership.
