Looking forward to seeing how you develop the garden 😀
Sounds wonderful … best of luck with this new adventure 🏡🥕🥔
Congratulations to you all. Wow martin has a talent in filming. Good on him. I’m so happy for you all and I’m looking forward to all the changes that will come ❤
Can’t wait to see your plans grow
I made my pond into a sand pit. Grandchildren loved it.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the garden and of course your bungalow. Great intro to the garden by the way.
Lovely to see you back Martin. You're all going to be very busy but what a fantastic project you have in front of you. It's going to be exciting, watching as your plans for the gardens develop. Every best wish to you all.
great to see you back Martin
Excited to see the transformation! It will be beautiful!!
Can you not drain the pond cut back that giant tree thingy over it and make a lovely raised flower bed? How exciting to have a blank canvas for a new vegetable garden. I’m not used to this prim and proper Martin so can you get the old geezer back again 😂😂. Almost a 1k already so Charlotte is beating your record 🤣🤣. Is the secret project a caravan for you to live in 😉
Ok all fun aside can’t wait 👍👍, Ali 🥵🇨🇦
Great to see you again Martin and your lovely family too! You look so happy. Looking forward to the home and garden video's 😁 You will have it all looking wonderful in no time, I have no doubt about that and it was certainly worth the wait 😘
Hi Martin. NIce to see you making your home grown haven video presenting debut 😀
Great to see you back on screen Martin the plan for the plot sounds great and I cannot wait to follow along. I'm looking forward to some of the old style video mixed in with the house development. Great combination 😃
So excited to see the transformation, it really has so much potential and a lovely place for George to grow up😊❤xx
Hello from Cheshire. We're in a very similar situation to you. We've just moved onto an acre plot which is mostly grass including a dodgy pond! so I'll be following along to see what ideas you come up with. Good luck
Exciting time for you all and me the viewer! 😊
♥
I can imagine your excitement and feelings of being overwhelmed. A tip that a friend told me – the only way to eat an elephant is in small chunks😊 I believe you will get there and am looking forward to watching your progress. Thanks for sharing
How exciting, looking forward to seeing your progress. Good luck😊
It's going to be gorgeous.
How exciting! Can’t wait!!! ❤❤❤
I think you’ve got some absolutely brilliant ideas and I think it will evolve naturally as you get to know it. Honestly, I want to come and live with you all! What a dream come true for you! ❤❤❤
Looking forward to the garden renovation; we’re just starting ours while renovating our 40 yo house that has never been touched 🥵. First thing I did was put in some veg, just into the ground (no-dig a la Charles D methods). I won’t leave them there long term but it is improving the soil without too much effort. Our fruit trees all need work/removal too but we’re doing it slowly as the inside renovations are taking precedence. We have a very overgrown pond complete with waterfall which we’re keeping but need to make safe for when the grandkids visit.
I don’t know what condition the pond wall is in or what’s off to the side but it seems a waste to remove it. Perhaps you could drain the pond and half fill with gravel and add sand to the top for George to play in? Great sandpit if it isn’t too big. Or add some drainage holes and use it as a raised bed with some low growing flowers/shrubs.
Love this for you all finally, will really enjoy watching it all. Will look amazing when you start making changes. Such a shame they left it to get so unloved it's in the right hands now 🙂 x
noooooo not the mature wisteria, you'll be so glad you left that but give it a proper trellis and lift it up, trim the main stem and it will no longer block your view of the garden.
