  1. Happy NEW YEAR. I love informative videos like this! I’m making plans for the spring garden to accommodate my limitations with my knee problems. I’m growing in greenstalks and one raised garden bed from Vego because they have the tall ones. You’ve learned a lot friend and you’re doing great!🌱🌱🌱

  2. Happy New Year 🎆. This video was very informative, thank you for sharing. I need to take inventory of what I have already, before purchasing anything else. Making plans for my spring garden. 🌺 💐 🌼

  3. 🌺 2026 We are all listening and learning from your channel and seeing the good as well as the bad makes subscribers know that you keep it real.
I didn’t know that about the vinyl you put in the greenhouse, it may emit gases in the summer and you and the families health ain’t to be truffled with. Pull it up, good decision.
A lot of us are visual learners so when we see the steps you are taking it’s a big help.
I think I will try to grow a bucket 🪣 of rice to make rice water to put on my plants by the summer. I already use comphrey water so this will be another addition for my container plants because all of the nourishment they have is what I provide because they’re not in the ground.
Thank you and Tony for being a big part of my successful garden.
I love you both, continue to be great 🌹 Cass ❤

  4. I learn so much from you….it's been a year and your encouragement on idea's whether good or bad you are Real, Girl of Soil. Camera Man Tony…yuntie love you all. God bless.

  5. You have said before that during nights when the temperature drops below freezing you will not cover any of your plants, to protect them from the freezing temperatures. Is the purpose of your garden for food or just experimenting to see what you can grow?

  6. Thank you for the information on the blueberry plant. Mines is flowering and some of the leaves are red and I was worried. Next week I should be planting my onions that I ordered. I tried several times to grow from seed but was unsuccessful. I was able to harvest enough greens to cook with my black eyed peas, that was exciting. I’m a first time gardener and I’ve learned a lot watching your channel and I’m no longer afraid to take a chance. If something doesn’t work out this time it’s a learning experience to prepare for next time. 🌼

  7. Take it out of the grow bag and put it in a regular pot, also the roots need to stretch out and refertilize it, and use an Acidic fertilizer or Berry fertilizer, keep the soil moist, also it can endure 400 hours of cold temperatures, mines still have its leaves and they are red and showing blooms, also keep some type of mulch on the top of it. #HappyGardening🍓🫐

  8. Frennnn, I grew peanuts 🥜 for the first time last season. I will do them again. However, please research growing them because they have to have space to “lay down.” The plants send out little shoots or pins that have to touch the ground and bury itself so the peanut 🥜 can grow underground. I’m afraid with the Greenstalks they won’t have the space to “lay down!” I hope I’m making sense..

  9. You have covered a lot of good points. I like the way that you shared the information. You have made me want to branch out with my little gardening business 🌺🌸💐🌷🌻🥀.

  10. Hi Frienddddd, I love the chaos garden idea I’m planning my spring out also thank you for all the knowledge. Our melons going crazy this next Go round!!

  11. You are being a great gardener , very informative. Also I love the way you & Tony are together. Y’all funny. But overall that yellow stalker, you made me rethink putting so many carrots in a pocket. I had to see it to understand the process.(that comment was from one of your other vlog)🌺🥕

  12. look into getting a Worx Trivac 3 in 1 blow vac/mulch. It was a life saver compared to me raking leaves for compost.Happy New Year.💐

  13. 🌻 I'm quite new to gardening. I initially had no intention on planting any flowers. These last few days especially today I've been researching hard and plan on having a pollinator garden also.

  14. I love your tented raised beds.
I no longer have a garden 🪏 due to my recent move. I do have 3 greenstalks, one is empty.
The pink one has flowers 💐, & a gorgeous red/ green ornamental cabbage. The beige one has strawberry plants 🍓.
It’s very cold 🥶 at night here in SC, but the days are in the 40’s.

  15. I truly appreciate this video it was very helpful and informative. I look forward to seeing your seed planting video of the flowers and melons etc.🌸🌸🌹🌹

  16. Hey Friend, Happy New Year to you! You always give great info and I like the weather you guys been having too. It’s like 17•, cold and windy here in Philly, but I’m still excited to plant for the spring. 🌺 🤦🏽‍♀️

  17. I love that you learned so much from trial and error. A lot of gardening is just trying and seeing the results. Learning from your own experience makes you a better gardener. @Teenola got me saving my rice 🍚 water too 😂 I plan on growing peanuts 🥜 for the first time this garden season too. I am so excited 🌷🌸🌻

  18. Leeks are pretty good pest deterrents as well. They are they have a mild oniony smell and they are also good in a lot of food dishes. I put them in greens, soups and roasted for added flavor. I been out for a while , but it's good to see you still at it in the garden, learning and growing in your skill. 😊Happy New Year!🌼🌼🌼

  19. Still in the planning stage here in Ohio….I have 7 soon to be 8 greenstalks that I need to redesign their purpose in addition to 10 raised beds and 10 grow bags. You can grow lettuce and spinach all summer if you have a shaded location and harvest often. You have given me some ideas to work with. Trying to be more intentional this season as last season I was building all these beds and learning GS.

  20. Hey friend.. Happy New Year… I am so glad to hear that you are revolving in your garden. I would have my brow up when you were starting out because you were wasting money on trial-error and planting on the fly😅
Keep alllll your soil! I don’t know if you can make rice water with the shell on the rice.
Also, plant the onions on the bottom tier of the peanuts. Onion water will change the taste of the peanuts..
Can’t wait to see my military brother cameraman Tony’s garden as well. #Armygirl

  21. GWS Happy New Year lady to you and yt family. WhenI say this video is crystal clear, what camera are you using and happy sowing and growing. I love the plans

  22. I love okra and last summer was the first time I was able to harvest it. Okra is a heat loving plant and birds love them. I have to add some kind of reflector near by the plant to get any.

  23. I ended up getting a shade cloth 45-50% shade. That was a game changer for the hot summer. I did use marigolds and did fairly well. I found out that I didn't plant enough. I'm still researching companion planting

  24. Thank you for the detailed information. I was able to still grow my peppers . Also my blueberries lime and lemon tree are flowering. So I still have hope I will get a harvest when the time come
