Liz Travis, Pye Homes customer host at Welborne, said: “Boxing Day is famous in the property world for being one of the busiest times of year for people to sit on their laptop and look for a new home, and this year is set to be busier than ever.
“We’re already getting lots of interest in the development, with plenty of would-be buyers visiting in person to try out our incredible interactive and immersive experience.”
Pye Homes, alongside CG Fry and Son and Thakeham Homes, have begun work on the first 600 homes.
The company recorded a 90 per cent increase in visits to its Welborne home page during the Twixmas period compared to the average from the rest of December.
The first Pye Homes residents are expected to move in in spring 2026.
