My neighbor and I have the only two on the block among a crap load of awful Bradford Pear and Red Maples, so want to make sure it’s healthy and will stick around for a long time. As long as I’ve lived here it’s had this lean out towards the street. I know they’re strong and resilient trees, but should I look at any kind of trimming to encourage it to straighten out?
Also how’s my root flare? I’m gonna pull up a bunch of grass thing spring for a mulch ring too!

The root flare is perfect, I wouldn’t touch it. If you remove the turf grass around it, add a ring of undyed, shredded bark mulch, and don’t let the mulch touch the trunk.
As far as the lean is concerned, I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s a sturdy tree. However, if there is ever construction near it in the future, I would recommend having an arborist assess it.
Since it is in the right of way, is it the municipality’s tree, or yours? If it is theirs, they should be responsible for any future maintenance, although the won’t complain a bit if you do minor stuff.
