Hey everyone, I recently purchased this pothos plant 🌱 it was in a plastic hanging basket and I repotted it in a clear nursery pot and propagated some of the leaves. Ultimately, I’d like it be a hanging pot of maybe I will buy some clips and hang it on my wall. I want to ask if there are too many stems in this pot, I’m not sure if they will over compete? It was like this when I purchased and some of the leaves look a bit dry 😅. Would appreciate your advice thanks 🙏.

I have a few pothos and this looks fine to me personally. Apologies if you already know this (or have already done this) but if you pin down the nodes to the soil (you can use paper clips or bobby pins etc) they will root, which might help with your worry about competing for water and nutrients.

After they’ve rooted, you can clip in between them and each one will form a new vine. I’ve been doing that since reading so many people on here recommend it and it’s made my plants look much fuller and healthier long-term.

Apologies again if you know this already but if you do eventually hang it on a wall, note that pothos can attach to dry wall to try and climb it. I found out the hard way (while renting lol).

Congrats on the new plant baby!

EDIT: Sorry I thought I was in the houseplants sub!! Deleted my recommendation of checking out the sub OP is posting in lmao (I’m so sorry)

Pothos can handle the crowding! If it’s getting enough light the leaves should be fine, but if you notice yellowing it may be because of that!
