My mum was given a little poinsettia plant just before Christmas by her sister, but she’s disabled and her carers literally drowned the poor thing. Her leaves wilted and fell off and what was left was very soggy, I’ve taken her out of her wet soil, trimmed her brown roots, replaced her soil and removed her dead/dying leaves right back. I watered her a very small amount when I first changed her soil. She can’t be on a window as there’s a draft on there but she’s in a warm, South facing room. I’m going to buy her a new pot as this one has zero drainage but is there anything else I can do to try to save her or is it too late?
