I actually went to Lowes today. Saw your video and went to check it out. This is what it says, you get one point for each "eligible" dollar spent. Guess you spent a whole lot at Lowes, because you have to spend $500 to get 500 points which is worth a whole $5.

You need to build a gopher wire basket under the plants your worried about. I learned this from Next Level Gardener.
I’ve bought so many plants there in the last few months and they’ve never mentioned the rewards program to me, but my husband is a veteran and we get the military discount so I’m wondering if that’s about the same
At Home Depot you can return all plants for a year which is just as good as this deal! Especially if you’re not great at keeping plants alive etc. 🤗

Thaks for sharing! I use all the tips and tricks and want to clarify that Lowes offers a one-year guarantee on trees, shrubs, and perennials! I have used this and had no issues with returning at my Lowes when shrubs did not winter over. I will acutally buy plants at Lowes over a local nusery since they do not offer the same policy!

WOW! Your Lowe’s has a fantastic selection of gorgeous flowers! Much better than ours in Oregon. Also, ours never has plants for $1. The clearance plants are up to half off. Last year there were some Hostas, half off for $6. I had a few in my cart and the cashier in the garden department said if I wanted more, she could lower them to $3 each. You just found this out? You do know if you take a sad "dying" looking plant to the cashier or anyone really working in the garden and ask them for a discount to help rescue the plant they will give it to you right?
