Jacqueline Edelman had 23 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals to help give Morris Catholic, No. 5 in the NJ.com Top 20, an 80-26 victory over Medgar Evers (NY) at the Garden State New Years Ball Tournament in Newark.
Jayah Curtis added 17 points and four steals for Morris Catholic (4-3).
Morris Catholic led 40-13 at halftime after allowing just two points in the first quarter before scoring 40 points in the second half.
Morris Catholic snapped its two-game losing skid after falling to South Shore (NY) and Long Island Lutheran (NY).
