Ardmore small business owner is growing her hobby of gardening at 'Plant 4 Good'

ARDMORE, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — At a small business in Ardmore, a previous nurse is growing a passion for plants.

The store is called “Plant 4 Good,” selling gardening essentials and emphasizing its peaceful process.

“I was a nurse in my former career and I was retiring and I had learned about therapeutic horticulture, which is using plants and gardening for wellness…I really saw the benefits of gardening for stress relief, I wanted to bring that to other people,” said Carolyn Vachani, Owner of Plant 4 Good.

“We have… lots of houseplants, everything you need to take care of your houseplants. Pots and soil and fertilizer…and then gardening support…We have a workshop space downstairs where we host lots of different workshops,” she continued.
