Having reset my strawberries this summer, I went on vacation and got blind sided by missing a cococoir flush and came back to a 8000 uS/cm waste water reading at pH of 3.7. Things were crispy, brown, and we had 2 casualties that I ultimately decided were better replaced by propping runners.
A month or so after massive corrective flushing and monitoring, were back in action and ready to move to flowering again! Some of the leftover damages are still very noticeable.
Lessons learned and plants saved, but my goodness am I ready to let these guys move to flowering later this month.
Ignore the 3 ft cococoir nothingness in the foreground – experiment in progress.
