I received a corm of this Frydek from my twin. Took about 3-4 months to get this big. Lost two leaves along the way. Am I in trouble, as the leaves are sprouting majority white? Maybe too much light in my cabinet?
I am not sure I have the answer but as you say, maybe you can reduce the light. We know that light can affect the level of variation and since you have a bit of green maybe less light can help produce greener leaves 😊

Silicone also helps with browning on the leaves with heavy variegation.
