Over the last two months, I’ve been working on transforming this neglected backyard space into something I can be proud of. From a messy raised garden bed to a brand new path, and finally tackling all the projects I’ve been putting off… it’s been a process. I decided to pull all the progress together into one video so you can watch the full transformation unfold. @robinrenovates #diy #transformation #makeover #gardening

  1. I go to sams and get the free cardboard that they lay between the goods and put them down to kill the grass. That’s how I built my back patio.

  2. Really lovely garden now after all your hard work. Really nice video to watch. Thank you. Best wishes from England xx

  3. I went through a similar backyard overhaul last year, and the feeling of finally having a space to be proud of is unbeatable. Great job!

  4. Weed barrier is a myth. The seeds get blown around in the wind and end up getting into everything from the top. Love the urbanite path. Been working on some of my own. Along with broken bricks.

  5. Watching from New Zealand. Enjoying the content. Hands down far better viewing than the overblown empire building ‘garden answer’ utube series. Yours is good honest entertaining work.

  6. Great video!! How refreshing to see someone being resourceful and thoughtful instead of just dropping $1000 on materials at the big box store. Nice job!

  7. There is stuff called mulch glue that can be used on pea gravel to hold it in place. You might want to try it. ❤❤❤❤

  8. Consider treating the tops of your newly cut posts to prevent rot or top them with ready made post tops. Your videos are inspiring because it’s real life.

  9. Suggestion, get a gallon of dark stain and roll it on your fences, make them all the same color, same with your veggie garden boxes 20:03

  10. Hi! Just subscribed!
I love what you're doing with your garden hardscapes! They are rustic, natural, and nothing is overdone or commercial.❣️😍 I want to copy what you've done with that gorgeous lavender "topiary"? I've never seen lavender off the ground like that. Love it!
