I grew this philodendron horse head from one cutting i was gifted, and it has since grew into one loooong plant.

Recently it dropped all its leaves but 2, so now I'm wanting to propogate and retry with multiple cuttings for a fuller plant.

Is it possible for me to cut at the marked sections, and use a soil tray type scenario to prop the cuttings? I'm not sure if they will take, so any advice will be useful, thank you!

I cut mine and put them in a chunky mix that I keep moist (not soaked) for a few weeks. I usually start to see new shoots around 3-4 weeks in. I do use Barrina T5 grow lights and keep my humidity at least 50% and I am located in West Texas. While are winters aren’t usually that harsh, we still don’t get the same amount if light as we do during the summer (hence the grow lights). My plants never stop growing, just slow down a little during winter.
When the new shoots appear, ease back off the watering a bit and water when 50% dry. Lastly, make sure you start with a small pot so they don’t rot. All my philos are similar to Monstera as they like to be tight in the pot.
Good luck! I hope something I shared helps!
